Life Groups

Let's Do Life Together

At ECI we believe that community is vital to our personal growth and walk with God. Building relationships with others helps us to understand more about God's truths while we are encouraged by like-hearted people.

Our Life Groups meet for two semesters each year; From January - April/May, and September to December. We take a  break for the summer and resume in September. Whether they will be in-person, virtual or via conference call will be dependent on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  More updates to follow.

Open Groups

These groups are open to everyone.

Financial Freedom

Leaders: Shender & Blendyne Mercier
When: Tuesdays @ 7:30 PM

Format: Virtual/Zoom
If you’re like many people, you’re in the dark about your finances. You pay your bills each month and do your best to prepare for the future. But the truth is, there’s only so much money to go around and preparing for the future can be overwhelming. This group will cover topics such as Debt Solutions, Saving for Retirement, Education Funding, Income Protection and Building your Financial Future. Do you have children, have debt, plan to retire someday and lack a strategy for financial independence? If any of these describes you, then this Life group is for you.

Caring for People Like Jesus Would

Leader: Marjorie Saintil
When: Sundays @ 5 PM

Format: Conference Call
This group is open to anyone who has a love for people and
desires to make an impact in practical ways on those who are sick and shut-in. Under normal circumstances we make visits to Nursing Homes and home visits with the sick. However, due to the present situation with the pandemic, visits will be replaced by phone calls,  as well as discussions and group interactions for members of the group on topics related to caring for people.

Free of Me

Leader: Vilma O'Meally
When: 1st and 3rd Fridays at 7:30 p.m.

Format: Conference Call
We live in a culture that's all about self, becoming the best “me” I can be instead of becoming like Jesus. This me-centered message affects every area of our lives—our friendships, families, self-image, even our faith—and it negatively impacts each one. The self-focused life robs our joy, shrinks our souls, and is the reason we never quite break free of insecurity.
This study unveils our deepest insecurities and equips us to focus on God and others instead of ourselves.

Intercessory Prayer

Leaders: Robert & Annette Kidd and Jennifer Nijhove
When: Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. and Fridays at 9:00 p.m.

Format: Conference Call
During the semester, many opportunities to gather with others to pray will be presented: weekly prayer via the prayer line, prayer walking the city for the lost, intimate worship meetings, corporate prayer meetings for the church, and organized prayer for communities, schools, and the government. Get ready for an exciting  semester of connecting with other believers and deepening your relationship with the Lord.

The Tabernacle was to provide this place of meeting.  His glory previously rested on the mountain. Now God wanted to fill the place of worship with His glory. Join us as we take a journey down the road of what it means to be the temple of the Living God, the place where God dwells.
